Description

1997 Denny's is a 29-card set was produced by Pinnacle Brands for Denny's Restaurants and features a star player from each of the Major League baseball teams. Cards #29 and #30 commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the desegregation of baseball, however, Larry Doby's card was only distributed in the Cleveland area.

The fronts feature 3D lenticular photos, while the backs carry a 3D hologram and player statistics. By purchasing any entree and non-alcoholic beverage, a collector could purchase a card for 59 cents. A significant portion of the proceeds went to support Denny's national charity, Save the Children.

After six years, this would be the final year for the Denny's baseball card promotion.
