2000 Pacific

Description

2000 Pacific Baseball is a 500 card set released in December, 1999. The base set consists of 450 players and 50 "Variation" cards. Unlike "gimmick" cards of future years, the Variations were printed in about the same quantity as any other base card. A set is considered complete with all 50 Variations.

Distribution

Hobby: 24 packs per box, 12 cards per pack. (MSRP $2.49).

Jewel Collection: 12 cards per pack (MSRP: $2.99). Exclusive to 7-11 stores.

Ruby

Every base card distributed in special "Jewel Packs" was struck with Ruby Red foil -- as opposed to Silver foil. Jewel Packs were only available at 7-11 stores.
