Description

2000 Topps TEK is a 45-card set released in July, 2000. This would be the final Topps TEK set.

The set features 40 player cards (1-40), and five short-printed rookie cards (41-45), and each card has 20 different background variations. Variations 16-20 feature an assortment of colors and are short-printed in comparison to the other 15.

Each rookie card is serial-numbered to 2000 copies with 100 copies for each background variation. The only notable Rookie Card is that of BretT Myers.

Colored

There are 20 different background variations for each player card. Variations 16-20 feature an assortment of colors and were produced in smaller quantities. Pattern 16 cards are purple, pattern 17 are red, pattern 18 are yellow, pattern 19 are green, and pattern 20 are blue.

Gold

Each base card's background variaiton has a Gold parallel that is serial-numbered to 10 copies. Collectively, each individual player has 200 Gold cards.
