Description
2000 Upper Deck Legends is a 135-card set released in August, 2000. The sequel to the previous year's well-received 1999 Century Legends, the base set features 90 retired players, 15 short-printed Y2K cards and 30 SPed Century Legends.
Each 24-pack box contains one autograph.
Distribution

For years, it was believed that card #UD6 was never produced. However in 2012, a copy of this card was mysteriously submitted to Beckett Grading. The card in question had the foil-stamping intended for the front of the card on the back instead. It is unknown what happened to any other UD6s.

NOTE: Four players (Frank Thomas, Ken Griffey Jr., Manny Ramirez, and Mo Vaughn) had ALL of their cards, and three (Dave Concepcion, Ozzie Smith, and Willie Stargell) SOME replaced by redemption cards, which expired April 22, 2001.
All cards, except Derek Jeter, were also available in a Gold parallel, which is serial-numbered to 50 copies. Jeter signed only 61 cards for this series.
