Description

1969 Transogram was a series of 60 action figures depicting the baseball stars of the day -- not unlike the Hartland statues of the late 50s/early 60s, or the Starting Lineups of the 80s and 90s. The reverse of the each Transogram statue box contains a full color, blank-backed card corresponding to the statue inside. Each card was designed to be cut-out of the box, and as such, are hard to find in mint condition.

The photos used on the cards are the same photos used on the player's 1969 Topps card.

For additional information on this set, please see this article on Sports Collector's Daily.

Distribution

One statue with player card printed per box.
