2001 Fleer Game Time (previously known as Gamers) is a 121-card set released in June 2001. The final 31 base set cards make up the "Next Game Rookies" subset and each is serial-numbered to 2000 copies.

Distribution

24 packs per box, five cards per pack (MSRP: $3.99).

Each Next Game Rookie is serial-numbered to 2000 copies. In what could best be described as a preemptive measure, those players on the checklist who would not be considered "true" RCs, were paired off with a veteran player either of the same team or the same position.
