1986 True Value
Description
1986 True Value is a 30-card set. Customers who purchased $5.00 at a participating True Value hardware store would receive a four-card perforated "strip." Each strip contained three player cards and a fourth card featuring various products the company was schlepping. The set can be collected either as individual cards (albeit with perforated edges) or as intact strips.
As with most promotional sets of the era, the set is not licensed by MLB Properties, and as such all logos are airbrushed out.
