Description

This six-card, printed-to-order, set celebrates what would have been Stan Musial's 100th birthday (November 21st, 2020). Beginning in October, and continuing each week for six weeks, a new card would be available, culminating with the sixth and final card, which was released on Musial's 100th birthday. Each card was printed to order, with production runs announced and parallels randomly distributed. Autographs for all six cards were also available separately.

Distribution

$9.99 per card, available for one week each on Topps.com.

Autographs

All six cards were also available with a Stan Musial sticker autograph. These autographs were sold separately and available in a variety of prices and scarcities. The base version is serial-numbered to 22 copies and sold for $49.99. Each card is also available in the following parallels.

  • Dark Blue (serial-numbered to ten; $99.99)
  • Red (serial-numbered to six; $179.99)
  • Gold (one-of-one; $499.99)

NOTE: Musial was a prolific signer, especially in his old age. Unfortunately, many of the autographs he signed later in life are barely legible and bear little resemblance to autographs he signed as a younger man. This is not to question the authenticity of the autographs used in this set; however, collectors should be advised and take this information into account if considering purchasing one of these autographs.
