Description

2022 Topps Now Postseason is a series of ten-card team sets, all produced to order by Topps, featuring the twelve teams that qualified for the 2022 MLB Postseason. Each set retailed for $29.99. Unlike the traditional Topps Now cards, which were only available for a 24 hour period, Postseason sets were sold beginning the day after the respective team qualified for the playoffs and continuing until October 10th. Selected team sets also had the option of adding an autograph to their set for an additional fee.

Parallels

Each team set will include one of the following parallels.

  • Blue (serial-numbered to 49 copies)
  • Purple (serial-numbered to 25 copies)
  • Red (serial-numbered to ten)
  • Orange (serial-numbered to five)
  • Gold (one-of-one)

NOTES

  • Some teams (Dodgers, Mets, Braves, Yankees, Cardinals, Mariners, and Padres) sold more sets than there were announced parallels available. Assuming all ten cards in each team set are parallels, and one parallel is in each team set, the maximum number of sets that can be produced is 900. ((49 + 25 + 10 + 5 + 1) X 10 = 900). It is currently unclear as to how Topps will rectify this issue.
  • The Ty France error card in the Mariners team set (#PS-92) was also included in the parallels.
