1996 Leaf Limited

Description

1996 Leaf Limited is a 90-card set. 45,000 serial-numbered Hobby boxes were produced. As part of a promotion, if the serial-number of the box matched certain 1996 year-ending stats, the collector and the dealer both had a chance to win prizes such as a Frank Thomas game-used bat, autographed batting glove, or a "Two Biggest Weapons" poster.

Each box contained two smaller mini-boxes, enabling the dealer to use his imagination in the marketing of this product.

Distribution

Two, 14-pack mini-boxes per box (45,000 boxes produced), five cards per pack pack (MSRP: $3.24).

Lumberjacks

Each Lumberjack is printed on maple wood and serial-numbered to 5000 copies. Each is also available in a Black parallel, which is serial-numbered to 500 copies.

Pennant Craze

Each Pennant Craze is serial-numbered to 2500 copies, is die-cut, and is printed on a felt-like substance.
