Description

2008 Upper Deck Yankees Stadium Legacy Box Set is one of two 100-card abbreviated editions of the 2008 Upper Deck Yankee Stadium Legacy set. One set was distributed primarily to mass-market retail outlets, the other on the home shopping channel QVC. The design is similar to the pack-inserted cards, but with blue (retail) or (white) borders. The retail set was packaged as a Blaster box.

QVC Set (White Borders)

NOTES

Each QVC set contained two exclusive game-used memorabilia cards: A bat and a jersey. Unfortunately, the player who used/wore the bat/jersey in question is not identified.
The QVC set was sold during a two-week period in September, 2008; but not fulfilled until late November. Because of this, Upper Deck was able to include highlights of Yankee Stadium's final season, including a card (#100) of the final game. As a result, the checklist differs from the mass-market retail set.
