Set of the Month

2005 Topps Total is a 770-card set. This would be the final Topps Total set after a four-year run. The set is structured with veterans as 1-575, dual-player veterans (usually relief pitchers and utility men) 576-690, prospects 691-720, "First Year" minor leaguers 721-765 and checklists 766-770. Oddly enough, card #666 is a single-player card featuring Red Sox closer Keith Foulke - indicating a serious dislike for the Red Sox by whomever at Topps was responsible for constructing the checklist.
