Set of the Month
1977 Kellogg's is a 57-card lenticular 3-D set. This is the sixth straight year the cereal maker issued a fully-licensed baseball card set. Each card, which measures 2 1/8" X 3 1/4" were inserted into specially-marked boxes of Kellogg's breakfast cereals. Just released2015 Topps Gypsy Queen is a 350-card set released on April 15th, 2015. As with previous year's versions of the product, the last 50 cards in the base set are short-printed. Each pack will contain one mini-sized parallel and each 24-pack Hobby box is expected to yield two autographs and two Relic cards. Each Hobby box will come packed with a special 10-card box containing exclusive mini-sized variation cards.
2015 Panini Stars & Stripes is a 100-card USA Baseball-licensed set released April 10, 2015. The set features current prospects and minor leaguers in their USA Baseball uniforms. Each 24-pack Hobby box should yield four autographs/game-used cards. 2015 Topps Museum Collection is a 100-card set released April 10. Each pack will contain either an autograph or a relic. Each four-pack box will yield the following: A Canvas Collection insert; A Jumbo Relic; A Quad Relic; An Autograph, and; An Autographed Relic 2015 Topps Tribute is a 100-card set released the week of March 18th, 2015, but recalled by Topps a day later. Each pack contained one serial-numbered autographed or game-used "Relic," and it is a quality-control issue with the autographs that caused Topps to recall the product. Shortly after the product's release, collectors began to complain that many of the autographs were coming out of the pack either scratched or smeared. In a press release, Topps blamed the issue on "UV contamination" and announced a recall of the product. As part of the recall, collectors who have any remaining unopened boxes or cases of 2015 Topps Tribute have until March 27th, to return them to their local Hobby dealer for a full refund. In addition, collectors who already opened a pack of Tribute and received a damaged autograph, have until June 30th to exchange their cards with Topps for replacement. It is currently unclear what (if anything) Topps plans on doing with the recalled 2015 Topps Tribute base cards, parallels, or Relics. 2015 Topps Opening Day is a 200-card set released March 18, 2015. As usual, the base set is a stripped down rendition of the 2015 Topps flagship set. Each pack will contain one insert. 2015 Donruss is a 245-card set released on March 11. With a bizzare design loosely based on the 1985 Donruss and 1987 Donruss sets, each 24-pack Hobby box will yield at least one autograph and two game-used memorabilia cards. 95 base cards are short-printed with the final 50 cards done in the style of the 1981 Donruss set. 2015 Topps Stickers were released on March 4, 2015. Each packet contains eight stickers and fifty packets come inside a retail box. The complete set consists of 301 stickers, which includes 236 current players, 19 retired players, 16 team mascots and a team logo sticker for every team. The 32-page album comes with 6 stickers. 2015 Topps Heritage, released during the first week of March 2015, is a 500-card set. This year's set, the fifteenth, is based on the 1966 Topps set. 2015 Topps Series One was released in the first week of February 2015. Each eight-card box will yield one autograph and one serial-numbered parallel. 2014 Panini Classics is a 200-card set released November 19. Each 12-pack Hobby box will yield four autographs and five Prizm parallels -- three of which will be serial-numbered. 2014 Topps Supreme was be released October, 29. Just like last year's product, every card in the set will be autographed and serial-numbered to 50 copies or less.
