Set of the Month

2002 Playoff Piece of the Game is a 100-card set released in November, 2002. Each six-card pack contained -- a novelty for the time -- one game-used memorabilia card. The last 50 cards in the base set make up a "Rookies" subset, with each Rookie serial-numbered to 500 copies.

Just Released

2023 Topps is a 660-card set released in two equal series of 330 cards. Series One was issued the week of February 15th. As usual, each 24-pack Hobby box will yield either an autograph or a Relic card while Hobby-exclusive jumbo boxes will yield an autograph, a game-used Relic, and a manufactured "relic."

2022 Panini Prizm Draft Picks is a 220-card set scheduled for release February 3rd, 2023.

Each eight card pack will yield one Silver Prizm, one insert, one autograph, and two additional Prizms.

2022 Topps Gilded Collection is a 160-card Chrome stock set, released February 1st, 2023. All 160 base cards are serial-numbered to 99 copies. Each five card box will yield two autographs.

2022 Finest is a 125-card set released by Topps on January 20th, 2023 -- six months later than its usual early Summer release date. Each box will yield two autographs.

2022 Panini Flawless is an 75-card set released January 18th, 2023. Each ten-card box will yield one jewel-encrusted base card or parallel serial-numbered to 20 copies or fewer, two game-used cards, and seven autographs.

2022 National Treasures was released by Panini January 11th, 2023. As usual, every card is autographed and/or a memorabilia card serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

2022 Bowman Transcendent was released December 30th. Only 100 sets were produced.

Each factory set contains the following:

  • One 50-card base set or a 50-card base image variation set, serial-numbered to 50 copies.
  • 30 Transcendent Autographs.
  • One, one-of-one, Icons Deco Gold Autograph.
  • One, one-of-one, Bobby Witt, Jr. Through the Years Autograph.
  • One, one-of-one, Marcelo Mayer Through the Years Autograph.
  • One, one-of-one, 1990 Bowman SuperFractor Autograph.
  • One, one-of-one, 1949 Bowman Oversized Cut Signature.
  • A VIP Experience Invitation.

2022 Panini Capstone is a 200-card set released December 30th. Each eight-card pack will contain one Red parallel, nine other parallels, 12 inserts, two game-used cards, and two autographs.

2022 Topps Five Star was released December 23rd. All cards are autographed, and each box will contain two.

2022 Bowman Draft is a 200-card set released December 21th. Each Hobby only Jumbo box will contain three autographs, 24 Refractors, and eleven inserts, while Super Jumbo boxes will yield five signatures, 40 Refractors, and ten inserts.

2022 Topps Chrome Update is a 200-card set released in December 14th, 2022. As with previous iterations of this product, it is an abbreviated chromium-stock rendition of the Topps Update set, and is packaged in ten-pack "Mega Boxes." For the first time, Chrome Update will be made available to Hobby shops, in addition to Target stores.

2022 Topps Chrome Black is a 100-card set released December 16th. Each four-card box will yield two base cards, one Refractor parallel serial-numbered to 199 copies or fewer, and one autograph.

2022 Triple Threads is a 100-card set in released December 16th. Each seven-card Hobby pack will contain three base cards, two parallels serial-numbered to 299 copies or fewer, one Relic card serial-numbered to 36 copies or fewer, and either an autograph or autographed relic serial-numbered to 99 copies or fewer.

2022 Donruss Optic was released December 7th -- two months later than last year's product. As usual, Optic is a 200-card chromium-stock take on the 2022 Donruss set. Each 20-pack Hobby box will yield 20 inserts ten parallels, and a pair of autographs.

Randomly seeded "Hot Boxes" will yield five autographs, or one serial-numbered parallel per pack.

"First off the Line" boxes were made available exclusively through paniniamerica.net. These boxes contain three autographs per box (one of which will be serial-numbered to 35 copies or fewer), a Pandora parallel serial-numbered to 99 in each pack, and a Cracked Ice parallel serial-numbered to seven per box.

2022 Stadium Club is a 300-card set released December 2nd -- delayed five and a half months. Each 16-pack Hobby box will yield a pair of autographs., an oversized boxloader, and a Chrome parallel.
